“I live near Stonehenge in England, and near the Regency city of Bath. To research books I spend my spare time visiting historic houses and properties about the UK and avidly read diaries and letters of the period to glean ideas, the stories I learn and the facts I find out I sometimes share here.”

I have a disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis and now Fibromyalgia too. I wrote a blog about my experiences a while ago, to support others by telling my story,  http://battlingankylosingspondylitis.wordpress.com “

  2. I don’t see my comment, so maybe I didn’t post it properly? This blog looks like lots of fun! Will enjoy reading it. Where is the beautiful header photo from, please? Thanks!!

      • Did I never thank you for your response? I’m sorry! Thanks so much! I think I forgot that I’d asked. I actually visited Blenheim Palace once, and really wanted to visit the gardens but spent too much time doing other things. Now I see what I missed!

  4. I just came across your piece about Craven via the Two Nerdy Ladies. Really interesting. I’ve studied history all my life and read about the Winter Queen quite often, yet this was the first time I read about Craven. Your blog deserves a lot more readers.. Thank you.
